With the Lunar New Year festivities overlapping with Valentine’s Day, Diptyque has prepared a roster of limited-edition offerings for the dual celebrations.

In celebrating the Lunar New Year, Diptyque has tapped Chinese calligrapher Ao Hei to embellish its first-ever limited-edition L’Eau Papier eau de toilette. The oval labels on both the bottle and outer packaging are accentuated with gold specks and lettering. Instead of the usual white box, the paper packaging comes in rich red and is emblazoned with Ao Hei’s powerful ink strokes.

I had the exciting opportunity to provide custom hand calligraphy red envelopes for all shoppers. Each shopper left with a pack of ten red envelopes, inked with their favourite quote, name or word.
