It's a drama about a transgender high school grad named Marco Mejia (Benny) who gets an internship at a cosmetics company whose products he criticized on YouTube and ends up loving. Madolyn Addison (Kim Catrall), a former supermodel turned CEO, entrepreneur, and founder of Glamorous Cosmetics, created one of the most successful cosmetic enterprises in the world. But now, a change has occurred. The company's performance is worse than declining; it's plunging, as if sabotaged from within. Not willing to let that happen, Madolyn gives Marco a summer internship just after he graduates high school. She has a plan: she wants him to be her eyes and ears, to make friends, and to find out "what they're hiding and what they're stealing." While she promises to share her wealth of knowledge with Marco in exchange for his service, she does so with a caveat: "This business isn't all glitter and glamour and neither is life."
